Community of Hope
At Northwest Family Life, we have be able to provide healing to many women and children who enter our programs. However, we are forced to continually turn away victims due to lack of resources. These are women who have shown the deep courage to finally leave their abusers, yet are being stopped at the front door because we cannot serve them within our current capacity.
In addition, resources are very limited for getting out the message of violence prevention and education in communities and schools. These efforts are equally essential if we want to keep the cycle of abuse from repeating itself in future relationships and families.
That is why we have created the Community of Hope.
Community of Hope members have agreed to consistently support the essential services of Northwest Family Life through monthly giving or an annual commitment. 'Leaders' in the Community of Hope have agreed to give substantial commitments to NWFL (at least $50/month or $1,000/year), and they are recognized at an annual event for their wonderful commitment to the women and children we serve.
We would love to have you join us in the Community of Hope. Your participation will enable us to always provide an open hand to women and children who need healing and hope. Hope through counseling; hope through advocacy and support; hope through comforting and teaching children; hope for a future.
We believe there are many in our community who would be shocked to know how many abused women are not being helped. We believe that if you knew a woman who was forced to take her children back into an abusive situation because there was no place for her to get help, that you would want to provide both help and hope to her. Please join the Community of Hope and help break the cycle of domestic violence.
