Self-defeating behavioral patterns that involve anger, procrastination, poor communication or impulse control can easily be addressed. Education and Clinical Experience
I have a Masters degree in Psychology - Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in California and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. I have a Mental Health Counselor License from the state of Washington and practice in north and south Seattle. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and adolescents. My specialty is women’s issues, especially depression, self-esteem, body image, stress management, marital conflict, divorce, and dealing with other life transitions.
Personal Experiences and InterestsI have been a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer for 20 yrs. Therefore, I enjoy combining my health and fitness experience with psychology and spirituality. I find this helps individuals attain more overall wellness, peace and satisfaction in life. Personally, I love snow skiing, kayaking, hiking, kick-boxing, weight training, dancing, golfing, travel……and spending time with my three teenagers!
